City have secured the long-term future of forward Rob Street with a new four-year contract.
Street played a pivotal role in City’s record-breaking Sky Bet League One title winning campaign, scoring 10 goals, with an overall 17 goal contributions across 53 appearances in all competitions.
The 24-year-old signed for the Imps at the start of the 2024/25 season and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Doncaster Rovers. His 12 goals in 24 games helped Rovers become Sky Bet League Two champions, before he returned to Michael Skubala’s side in the summer to achieve a second league winners medal in as many years.
Sporting director Jez George said: “We are delighted that Rob has committed his future to Lincoln City so that we can attack the challenges of the Championship together. Rob had been an integral part of what we achieved last season, excelling across all three forward positions, and he has the potential for even more growth and development. Rob will be equally integral for us in what we are trying to achieve moving forward.
“Just as importantly, Rob is an incredible character, epitomising everything about our group with a mentality, work ethic and selflessness rarely seen from players in his position, as well as the attributes he possesses that suit our game model so well. He is a class act.”
Rob Street added: “I’m delighted to have signed a new deal - this is a really exciting place to be at the moment.
“I’m very thankful to the club for showing their faith in me. I wanted to be a big part of the team and we’ve achieved everything we wanted to - it has been the most memorable season of my career.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here and am excited for the future. We know what a challenge next season is going to be but it’s one everyone at the club is really looking forward to.”
