City have renewed their gold partnership with Stagecoach ahead of the 2024/25 campaign which will also see the matchday travel deal extended.
The continuation of the scheme into the 24/25 season will allow gold members to get discounted travel on home matchdays on Stagecoach services.
A 60% discounted day rider will provide adults with unlimited bus travel within the scheme guidance below on any bus journey within the LCFC zone for £2. For gold members who are up to and including the age of 19, there is also a reduced £1.40 day rider (normally £3.40).
Journeys run up to every 15, 20 or 30 minutes in the daytime, and some services run later to cater for evening matches.
Matt Cranwell, managing director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “As a company, we strive to support the communities that we serve and therefore are pleased to be able to continue this discounted ticket scheme which has been extremely popular with the fans of Lincoln City.
“Using public transport on matchdays will significantly benefit fans by reducing traffic congestion in the city and remove the need to hunt for those elusive parking spaces.
“The recent introduction of evening services to the local bus network now gives fans more flexibility to get home quickly and safely after evening matches. Supporters will be able to catch the bus on services towards Boultham Park, Doddington Park, Birchwood, Brant Road, North Hykeham and Bracebridge Heath from stops along Lincoln High Street. Or alternatively bus into town and make connections onto other services towards the Ermine or Glebe Park.
“We wish the Imps all the best and hope the fans have a thoroughly enjoyable season.”
Andrew Whitham, City’s director of sales, said: “We are pleased to continue our growing relationship with Stagecoach who have reliably served our supporters across the past couple of seasons. We strive for a greener environment and our continued partnership with Stagecoach helps us to do this.”
