City head coach Michael Skubala has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for January.
The Imps continued their unbeaten run into January, collecting 14 points from six undefeated games, including impressive three-goal victories over Peterborough United and Bradford City.
The other nominations are as follows:
Gary Caldwell (Exeter City)
Exeter began January level on points with the relegation places and a difficult-looking fixture list. Thanks to the foundations Caldwell has built amid financial constraints, their 11 points from six games moved them into mid-table.
Dave Challinor (Stockport County)
Challinor inspired a consistency in Stockport’s results and also bedded in new January signings as County found a way to win close games. Three of them were won in the final 15 minutes in a solid haul of 14 points from seven games.
Liam Manning (Huddersfield Town)
Manning had an immediate impact in Huddersfield, winning all of his three games in charge. Wins over Bradford and Luton were their first against promotion rivals all season and both were achieved after being reduced to ten men.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
All winners will be announced on Friday 13 February 2026.
