City head coach Michael Skubala has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for February.

The Imps continued their unbeaten run into February, collecting 13 points from five undefeated games, including big scorelines against Plymouth Argyle, Northampton Town and Blackpool, as well as a 2-0 away victory at Mansfield Town.

The other nominations are as follows:

Brian Barry-Murphy (Cardiff City)

When Cardiff lost main striker Yousef Salech to injury, they needed goals from elsewhere. In one month, an astonishing 11 different players found the net in Barry-Murphy’s fluid system as they managed 16 goals and 12 points in five games.

Tom Cleverley (Plymouth Argyle)

Cleverley’s switch to 4-4-2 and a more vigorous press has made Argyle the entertainers with their five games containing 21 goals and yielding nine points. The high point was a thrilling 5-2 victory over leaders Cardiff to move into mid-table.

Johnnie Jackson (Wimbledon)

With Wimbledon failing to score in seven of their previous ten games and sliding down the table, Jackson put more emphasis on moving the ball quicker and taking risks in February. The result was 13 goals and 11 points from six games.

All winners will be announced on Friday 13 March 2026.

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
