City head coach Michael Skubala has been named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Year at the 2026 League Managers Association Awards following an extraordinary campaign which saw the Imps secure promotion with a remarkable 103-point haul.

Skubala collected the accolade at the annual LMA Awards ceremony after guiding City to one of the most successful seasons in the club’s modern history, earning recognition from fellow managers across the game.

The award caps a historic campaign for the Imps, with Skubala leading the club a record-breaking points tally as City secured their return to the Championship for the first time in 65 years.
