City head coach Michael Skubala and captain Tendayi Darikwa have been nominated for the April Manager and Player of the Month awards respectively.
The Imps wrapped up promotion and the Sky Bet League One title during the month of April, taking another 16 points from 18 available, with Darikwa contributing two of City's 13 goals.

April Manager of the Month nominees
Brian Barry-Murphy (Cardiff City)
When results begin to slide, it can be hard to remain calm, but Barry-Murphy did just that, sticking to his principles and trusting his players as he has all season. The result was 14 points from six unbeaten games and automatic promotion.
Ian Evatt (Blackpool)
At the turn of the month, Blackpool were perched just one place above the relegation places. Using his organisational skills and defensive nous, Evatt guided his side into mid-table with four wins from five games, three by a single goal.
Michael Skubala (Lincoln City)
Him again. Skubala has led Lincoln to a season for the ages – five unbeaten months, promotion, the League One title and 100 points. And yet, even with all that, they refused to relent in April, gaining another 16 points from a possible 18.
Jack Wilshere (Luton Town)
Wilshere spent the international break working with his players to add a greater attacking thrust. The rewards were seen as Luton earned 16 points from six unbeaten games, scoring at least two in each, to move into the play-off picture.
April Player of the Month nominees
Tendayi Darikwa (Lincoln City) – full-back
Respected captain of the all-conquering Lincoln team, Darikwa shone as an individual in the month he lifted the League One trophy. Reliably sound as ever in his defensive duties, he went forward from right-back to score two goals himself.
Johnny Kenny (Bolton Wanderers) - striker
What a January loan signing Kenny is proving to be. The Irishman scored in each of his five games in the month – Bolton lost the other one without him - with his hunger and dynamism troubling opposing defenders all across the front line.
Filip Marschall (Stevenage) - goalkeeper
Marschall’s four clean sheets in April earned Stevenage valuable points in their play-off drive with a series of athletic displays. He made last-minute saves at Rotherham and Doncaster and three superb stops at promotion rivals Bradford.
Kasey Palmer (Luton Town) - midfielder
Palmer has added his class to the Luton side with his technical ability, flair and eye for a pass. Less expected was his impact in front of goal, scoring a vital winner against Barnsley and finding the top corner at Wimbledon in his five goals and one assist.
All winners will be announced on Friday 8 May 2026.
