City supporters wishing to pay tribute to former player and manager Steve Thompson are invited to do so at the LNER Stadium this Friday.
Thompson, who passed away recently after a battle with cancer, will be laid to rest on Friday morning.
With a large number of mourners expected at the funeral, supporters without a personal connection wishing to pay their respects are invited to join club staff in providing a guard of honour at the LNER Stadium as Tommo is driven past his spiritual home one final time.
The family have asked supporters to be in place in front of the Greenlinc Stand by 9.20am. The funeral cortège will drive around the LNER Stadium entering from Sincil Bank, before passing behind the Rilmac Stand then the Greenlinc Stand before exiting via Cross Street.
