Jamie Pardington has signed a contract with City until the summer of 2028.

Pardington joined the Imps in the summer of 2024 and made his debut against Manchester City U21 in the Vertu Trophy that season.

During his time at the Imps, he has also had loan spells with Peterborough Sports, Telford United, Oxford City and Kidderminster Harriers.

Sporting director Jez George said: “We are delighted that Jamie has signed a new contract to be our No.3 goalkeeper next season. We highlighted publicly at the end of last season what a crucial contribution Jamie made in this role for the goalkeeping unit and the wider squad on the training pitch every day.

“It requires a certain type of selfless character and that sums up Jamie. He is hugely respected and valued within the football department and while Jamie could have left to pursue playing opportunities in non-league or to be a No.2 for a club in League One or League Two, we are really pleased that he has decided to stay.”
