Jamie Pardington has been pleased with the group dynamic as he continues to integrate himself into the squad following his summer move.
Alongside several other new additions, the trip to Spain has allowed the goalkeeper to form bonds with his team-mates.
Pardington said: “Trips like this are really good for the boys to build chemistry together, everyone’s blending in with each other well.
“Everyone’s coming together, it’s a really nice group mentality that we’ve got, it’s a good environment to be in and it’s been a pleasure so far.”
City’s goalkeeping coach Scott Fry is one face that is very familiar to Pardington however, with the two working together at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He added: “Scotty is putting us through our paces, it’s good.
“It’s definitely going to benefit me in the long run because I know I can be honest with him and he can be honest with me about what I need to improve on.”
