Long-standing Platinum Partner Northwick Group has strengthened their commitment to Lincoln City after agreeing a new three-year partnership to sponsor the Stacey West Stand.
The agreement will see Northwick Group continue its support of the Imps by becoming the sponsor of one of the most significant areas of the ProAmpac Stadium.
The partnership has been developed following consultation with the Fan Advisory Board, with the club and Northwick Group sharing a commitment to respecting the history and importance of the Stacey West Stand.
The stand serves as a lasting tribute to Imps fans Bill Stacey and Jim West, who were among the 56 supporters who tragically lost their lives in the Valley Parade fire on 11 May 1985. Honouring their memory will always be at the heart of the Stacey West Stand, and this understanding has been central throughout discussions between the club, Northwick Group and the Fan Advisory Board.
Established in 2013, Northwick Group has grown into a trusted provider of electrical installation and maintenance services across the UK, supporting customers across a range of sectors.
While the business continues to grow nationwide, its connection to Lincoln City remains at the heart of what it does. Led by lifelong Imps supporters, Northwick Group has proudly supported the club for a number of years, making this partnership a meaningful continuation of its commitment to the Imps.
City's head of commercial Bobby Copping said: “The team at Northwick Group are fantastic people and hugely valued partners of Lincoln City.
“We feel very fortunate to have a partner that truly understands this football club, its heritage and its importance to the community.
“They have been incredibly sensitive throughout the branding and design process and ensured the Fan Advisory Board were central to this commitment.
“We’re very excited to work even more closely with Northwick Group over the next three years and beyond.”
Tom Wray, managing director at Northwick Group, added: “As a Lincolnshire-based business, we understand the significance of the Stacey West Stand and its importance to everyone at the football club. This is an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Northwick Group.
“I’m a City season ticket holder myself and have supported the club throughout my life, so Lincoln City means a great deal to me and my family. We’re excited for the season ahead.”
Tony Smith, former chair of the Fan Advisory Board, added: “The fact that the people behind Northwick Group are lifelong City fans and made sure they consulted with us to ensure this was right for the city of Lincoln and the supporters of this club is a credit to them and their company.”
