Noah Hutton believes that City's final PDL Cup fixture against Burton Albion is a massive opportunity.
The young Imps got their first win of the U17 PDL Cup against Notts County on Wednesday night in which Noah Hutton played a key part in the teams' creative display and 3-1 victory on the road.
This was City’s first win in the U17 PDL Cup and keeps their hopes of progressing to the next round alive, with progression resting on their final cup fixture against the Brewers.
Hutton believes that the win on Wednesday was crucial and sets up a huge fixture at home against Burton, he said: “It’s a massive opportunity, we knew we had to win the game, and it really helped push the team forward.
"It now sets us up a nice home fixture against Burton and gives us the opportunity to get to the next round which would be huge for the team.”
Hutton’s performances have been impressive so far this season which has helped him continue to earn opportunities for the U18s.
He said: “It’s really important for me, this is the level I want to be at, the next step is to be starting week in week out to help me progress.”
