Freddie Draper, Reeco Hackett and Dom Jefferies have all committed their futures to the Imps by signing new contracts.

Academy graduate Draper has made more than 100 appearances in City colours since breaking into the first team and played a key role in the club's Sky Bet League One title-winning campaign last season, scoring seven goals. The striker has signed a new deal until the summer of 2030.

Hackett has also put pen to paper on a new contract after enjoying another impressive campaign. Since arriving at the Imps in the summer of 2023, the forward has also made more than 100 appearances and scored 23 goals, signing a new deal until the summer of 2029.

Versatile midfielder Jefferies has also extended his stay at the ProAmpac Stadium. Entering his third season with the club, the Welshman memorably scored City's crucial winner away at Cardiff City last season, as well as countless other important contributions, and has now signed a contract until the summer of 2028 plus a one-year club option.

Sporting director Jez George said: “We know that we need to add to the squad and we are working 24/7 to do that. We know the season starts on Saturday, and our first season in the second tier of English football kicks off with one of the hardest possible opening fixtures at play-off finalists Middlesbrough the weekend after.

“But all summer, as well as trying to identify and sign players that can enhance the group, which is an ongoing process, we have also worked hard to tie down players across the squad to protect their potential asset value. We are delighted to have now secured Freddie, Reeco and Dom on longer contracts.

“They all created memorable moments last season, and they will all have an important role to play for Lincoln City this season and in the future.”
