City will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run to five games when they visit Stockport County on Boxing Day.

Read the thoughts of Michael Skubala and Conor McGrandles, and familiarise yourself with key match information in our preview.

Michael Skubala:

“This group have always had a great belief that we can do something special, even when results were not going our way. We know that if we’re going to achieve something we have to maintain our high standards and ensure that we stay injury free.

"There’s huge belief in the squad that we’re moving in the right direction, but there will be many other teams in League One with a similar feeling and there’s a lot of football still to be played.

“Stockport are a great team with a really good manager. What I like about them is that they know who they are and have their own style, they don’t try to copy anyone else.

“They are very adaptable and in some ways similar to us. We’re going to have to be on it, but that is the challenge of this division.”

Conor McGrandles:

“We’re happy with how the season has gone so far, but we know that there is still a long way to go.

“I think as a player you know when you’re in a good run of form, but it helps having great players around you, because you know if you make a mistake, you have others around you to help. I think we’ve got a strong group for that.

“With the league this season, every team is tough. Stockport are a great side and are right up there, but we’re confident that if we go there and play well, we can get a good result.”

Opposition information:

Please note: City's official coaches travelling to away games will depart from the bus stop on Tentercroft Street for the foreseeable future. This change is required due to changes in road layout around the Sincil Bank area, although the club are committed to working with Lincolnshire County Council to allow a return to the LNER Stadium. Imps fans who are making the trip on official coaches will still be able to park at the LNER Stadium, but we urge you to allow time to get to Tentercroft Street for the departure.
