Match preview | Imps vs Huddersfield Town

Preview graphic for Imps vs Huddersfield

The Imps look to go four games unbeaten at home when they host Huddersfield Town at the LNER Stadium on Tuesday 1 April (7.45pm KO).

Read what head coach Michael Skubala and defender Adam Jackson had to say ahead of the Sky Bet League One clash with the Terriers, and familiarise yourself with all the key matchday information in our preview.

Michael Skubala:

"I thought Wycombe away was a 0-0 game. We didn't create enough, but I didn't feel threatened by them either. We kept them quiet, but we lost out on the big moment and that's happened a couple of times for us this season unfortunately.

"I've said to the players, there is always something to play for in professional football. Three points are really important.

"I'm looking at things ahead of next season and we are trying to learn little things and grow as we go. It's all part of the jigsaw and what we want to build going forward to next season.

"Huddersfield are a big club with a strong budget and good players in the squad but haven't found the consistency, showing how tough the league is again. But we aren't worried about what they are doing - we are focusing on what we can do and how we can build as a club.

"Tuesday night under the lights is always good, and we want to put on a performance that the supporters can be proud of as always. We want to get after the game and get the three points. Hopefully we can get the place rocking with a strong away following too."

Adam Jackson:

"I have really enjoyed my five years here. The club has really progressed in that time with the LNER Stadium, training ground and staff all having improved. The equipment we have now, especially rehab-wise have got getting better and better, which is only a good thing for the club.

"Competition for places is a healthy thing. We are training hard every day trying to make each other better. Everyone is hungry and fighting for places. I have been training hard over the past few weeks when I have not been in the side, waiting for my chance. If that chance comes on Tuesday night then I will be ready to take it."
