City will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run to nine games when they host Exeter City on Saturday 4 October (3pm KO).

Hear the pre-match thoughts of Michael Skubala and Freddie Draper, as well as familiarising yourself with the key pre-match information in our preview.

Michael Skubala:

"We can't take any team for granted. We've seen already this season that anyone can beat anyone in this division, just look at Burton in midweek going to Cardiff and winning.

"Of course, we're at home and we want to take the game to them and get the three points, but if we take our foot off the gas we can be hurt and that is just the reality of the league."

Freddie Draper:

"We know it will be another difficult game, but we're at home, we've had good form at our place for a while now and we want to continue that.

"We're feeling confident, but at the same time we know that there is a job do and we'll be looking to perform to our maxium and get the win."

Opposition information:

The Grecians will be looking to a halt a run of four successive defeats when they head to the LNER Stadium on Saturday. Gary Caldwell's side have won once on the road this season, with a Jack Rimmer own goal giving them all three points at Wycombe Wanderers in August.

The two sides played out two goalless draws last term, with City's last win against the Grecians coming courtesy of a Joe Taylor strike in February 2024.

The visitors will be hoping top scorer Josh Magennis can add to his four goals so far this season when they two sides lock horns at the LNER Stadium.
