City’s Elite Development Pathway is inviting talented young footballers to attend a player recruitment session on Friday 4th September.
The EDP is Lincoln City's full player development pathway, supporting young footballers from U7 through to U19. For U7 players, the pathway begins at the Talent Hub. Sessions take place in small groups, allowing coaches to focus on individual player development. Training is designed to enhance skills and decision-making while working alongside players’ existing grassroots club registrations and team training.
A key feature of the EDP is its close alignment with the Imps' Academy. This connection means players within the pathway have opportunities to be identified for Academy recruitment as they progress through the different programmes.
The Talent Hub therefore provides an opportunity for young players to begin their Lincoln City journey while continuing to represent and develop with their grassroots clubs.
The recruitment session on Friday 4th September will give talented players the opportunity to experience the EDP environment and demonstrate their ability as they look to take the first step into City’s player development pathway.
