MJ Kamson-Kamara has joined Glentoran on a season-long loan.

Kamson-Kamara, who made his senior debut for the Imps in the Vertu Trophy group win at Grimsby Town last season,  has enjoyed loan spells with Barwell and Peterborough Sports - making 22 appearances for the latter across the 2024/25 campaign.

The defender will now continue his development in the NIFL Premiership with league leaders Glentoran.

Kamson-Kamara said: “I’m really excited to join Glentoran on loan for the season. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to test myself in a new league, learn from experienced players and coaches and play in front of passionate supporters.

“I’ve heard so much about the club, the fans and the atmosphere at the BetMcLean Oval and I’m looking forward to experiencing that for myself. The manager and staff have already made me feel welcome and I can see how professional the environment is here.

“The team has made a brilliant start to the season and I want to contribute to that. My focus is on working hard, improving every day and giving everything I can to help the club compete for honours.

“I’m grateful to Lincoln City for giving me this opportunity and to Glentoran for the faith they’ve shown in me. I can’t wait to get started and show the supporters what I can do.”

Director of football Jez George added: “We know and trust their manager Declan Devine and assistant Paddy McCourt so this is an excellent opportunity for MJ.

“It has been a frustrating few months for him, twice rehabbing from major injuries, so this is the chance for him to experience a new environment and work hard to get minutes in a competitive league for a club with a massive history, tradition and expectations. It is the perfect challenge for him.”
