City have issued a lifetime ban to the individual who entered the field of play during Saturday’s fixture against Swansea City.
Entering the field of play at a football match without lawful authority is a criminal offence. Anyone who encroaches onto the pitch will also face the strongest sanction available under the club’s supporter sanctions policy.
Pitch encroachment can have wider consequences for fellow supporters, including the potential closure of sections of the ProAmpac Stadium as City remain subject to an FA Action Plan until the end of the 2026/27 season following previous supporter misconduct charges.
The ProAmpac Stadium should always be an enjoyable, safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Incidents of this nature are completely unacceptable and have no place at a football match.
