Take a look behind the scenes as work continues at the ProAmpac Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 season.
With a busy schedule since the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign, the stadium is now almost unrecognisable from how it looked when it hosted the final home game of the season and the memorable presentation of the Sky Bet League One Trophy.
The highlight of the Imps Territory work is a new venue, positioned behind the Rilmac Stand, which can host events for up to 500 guests.
This structure is now enclosed with cladding and a roof, with internal rooms being created - this will be in its final layout inside the next few weeks.
The kitchen and bar area is fully formed, as are toilets and welfare areas - these will all be fitted out over the next couple of weeks.
New floodlights are being installed around the stadium, a process which will be completed by mid July.
Foundations are in place for the new big screen which will be in the north-west corner of the stadium between the GBM Stand and the Stacey West Stand.
This is one of three big screens which will be in place next season, with two in the Fan Village.
Most seats in the Greenlinc Renewables Stand have been replaced, with that stand also being painted - with painting work on the GBM Stand having started earlier in the summer and progressing well.
The Clubhouse, a new community space and coffee shop, has already been in operation for a soft launch period over the past few weeks.
Future plans include the installation of solar panels, a new public address system and relaying the surface around the entire footprint of the stadium.
With City being handed an away tie at Derby County in the Carabao Cup first round and a trip to Middlesbrough on the opening day of the Sky Bet Championship season, the schedule of works has been revised - this has required the club shop, ticket office and Clubhouse to shut for a period at the start of July.
It will be a number of weeks before we can reopen the main club shop, ticket office and Clubhouse - please do not try to access this area of the ProAmpac Stadium during this time.
A pop-up club shop is in place on the lower deck of the Waterside Shopping Centre, with plans to expand the range of items and alternate pop-up options should these be required.
The ticket office team will still be able to support fans with any queries, and will be contactable via tickets@theredimps.com or 01522 880011 from 10am until 5pm Monday to Friday. The online ticketing system will remain operational throughout at theredimps.net/tickets.
