City’s players continued their preparations for the new campaign with another busy day at the club’s pre-season training camp in Spain.
The squad completed work on the training pitches and in the gym before swapping footballs for cricket bats during a players-versus-staff contest.
The players secured the opening game by 12 runs, but the football staff levelled the series with victory in the second match.
The staff posted a formidable total of 99 from their 10 overs, which proved beyond the second group of players as an entertaining contest ended with the honours even.
