Young footballers can follow in the footsteps of professional players and experience life at Lincoln City through two new Elite Development Pathway Masterclass series.
Taking place throughout the 2026/27 season, the sessions will give aspiring players the opportunity to train at the club’s Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre, learn from City coaches and gain an insight into the standards and experiences within a professional football environment.
Two programmes are available, with the Elite Series Masterclass aimed at players in U11/Year 6 and U12/Year 7, while the Train Like A Pro Masterclass Series is open to U14/Year 9, U15/Year 10 and U16/Year 11 players.
Elite Series Masterclass
The Elite Series Masterclass offers younger players three different experiences designed around the Lincoln City Academy pathway.
The series begins with ‘The Imp Way’ at the club’s Academy, based at the Showground Campus of Riseholme College, on Tuesday 27 October, giving players the chance to learn and emulate the Lincoln City Academy training syllabus.
Players can return on Tuesday 6 April for ‘The Experience’, which includes an up-close insight into the highest level of the Academy programme and the opportunity to watch an U18 fixture.
The series concludes on Tuesday 1 June with ‘Win Together’, when players will put their learning into practice through a multi-format game day featuring varying levels of competition.
The programme will finish with a presentation ceremony, celebrating individual achievement and recognising the winning age group.

Train Like A Pro Masterclass Series
Experience what it takes to train, learn and prepare like a City player with a series of unique development days at the Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre.
The sessions will give aspiring players an insight into a day in the life of a professional footballer, with access to the same environment used by City’s first team.
Players will receive an exclusive welcome from the club’s coaching team before taking part in performance-focused gym sessions and football coaching on the first-team training pitches.
The experience will extend beyond the pitch, with workshops delivered by industry experts covering nutrition, recovery and performance analysis, as well as providing an insight into what is required to progress towards the professional game.
Participants will experience the different elements which make up a professional player’s routine, from arriving at the Elite Performance Centre through to training and performance preparation.
The sessions are open to players at U14 (Year 9), U15 (Year 10) and U16 (Year 11) level.
The first development day will take place on Wednesday 28 October from 9.30am until 2.30pm, with a second scheduled for Wednesday 7 April from 9.30am until 2.30pm.
