Ahead of Saturday’s visit of Cardiff City in Sky Bet League One, the Lincoln City Foundation invited supporters who often attend matches on their own to take part in a pre-match catch-up event.

There was a great turnout at the Co-op Community Hub, with those in attendance enjoying a welcoming environment, as well as some free coffee, tea and cake.

The Foundation’s director of growth Alex Bavin said: “I’d like to thank everyone who came down to our Imps Catch-Up event on Saturday.

“It was great to see so many people come down and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with us in the Co-op Community Hub.

“We’ve had some fantastic feedback from those who attended which we will take on board for future events.

“The final thing for me to say is that whatever your circumstances are this Christmas, there is support available thanks to Lincolnshire Voluntary Engagement Team who have pulled together a fantastic list of activities available over the Christmas period.”
