Leo Fifield has been voted the All in Construction September Goal of the Month winner for his strike against Walsall U18s.
The forward found the net for the young Imps with a well-worked team goal, showcasing the quality of Isaac Rice and Sam Tillen’s side.
The move was built from back to front, with City working the ball through the team before Fifield received possession, took two touches and calmly finished past the Walsall goalkeeper.
The strike proved to be a popular choice with supporters, with Fifield claiming the September Goal of the Month award following a vote across the club’s channels.
He said: “I’m really proud to win Goal of the Month and to receive recognition from the supporters.
“It’s been a great start to the season for both me and the team, and hopefully we can keep that going. It was a great team goal, and I was pleased to be able to finish off the move.
“Hopefully there’s plenty more to come, and I can keep contributing to the team throughout the season.”
