Reeco Hackett is excited to fly out to Spain next week as the Imps embark on a pre-season camp where they will play Preston North End on Friday 12 July.
The winger believes the trip will be a great opportunity for the new players to gel into the squad ahead of the new campaign.
He said: “I’m looking forward to Spain - I did it last year with the boys. It'll be good for the new players to settle in and get to know everyone a lot better.
“Hopefully we can go there, get as fit as we can and get ready for some games in front of the fans.”
Hackett is hoping to build on what was a positive first year with the Imps, scoring seven times and assisting on four occasions in 23/24.
He added: “I’ve loved every minute so far. It was a bit disappointing with the injuries I picked up, but I learned so much, improved as a player and the team improved massively - especially with Michael coming in.
“I’m excited to see what we can do with a full season under the head coach.”
