Deji Elerewe will be available for City’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Burnley on Saturday following a successful appeal against his red card at Millwall.
The defender was dismissed during Saturday’s 2-2 draw at The Den after being adjudged to have denied an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
City subsequently appealed the decision, with the appeal upheld and the red card overturned.
The decision means Elerewe will not serve a suspension and is available for selection when the Imps welcome the Clarets to the ProAmpac Stadium this weekend.
