Freddie Draper is looking forward to getting back out on the pitch ahead of the Imps’ first pre-season test against Preston North End in Spain.
City have been doing some intense warm weather training for the past week, and the striker is now looking forward to translating that hard work into a match.
Draper said: “When the season ended, a couple of weeks went by and I just wanted to get back to football again.
“It’s been a long wait, but it’ll be good to get back out onto the pitch, get a few minutes and focus on the next few games.”
Draper is also looking forward to seeing the Lincoln City faithful backing the Imps at the Pinatar Arena.
He added: “It’s good for the fans to come away to Spain and watch us, and to be in and around us.
“We’re all looking forward to the support - we know how noisy the City fans are.”
