City’s fixture against Birmingham City will be the club’s official Remembrance Day game.

After a guard of honour provided by members of the armed forces, there will be a short ceremony before the match which includes a bugler performing a rendition of the Last Post.

Supporters are asked to get their seats earlier than usual to ensure that everybody can watch the commemorations and pay their respects. Players are expected to leave the tunnel at 12.22pm, so please be in position by then to enjoy the act of remembrance in full.

Turnstiles will also be temporarily closed during the ceremony. Supporters will be allowed in before and after this closure to ensure background noise is minimised while those inside the ground pay their respects.

Representatives of the Royal British Legion will be in attendance at the game, with volunteers selling poppies outside the ground ahead of kick-off.

Poppy pin badges are available from the club store in the run-up to the game for just £6, with all proceeds helping the Legion support servicemen and women, veterans and their families.
