Supporters attending Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture between Lincoln City and Rotherham United are encouraged to arrive early and get involved in a packed programme of activities as the club celebrates its official Foundation Matchday.
Taking place around the LNER Stadium ahead of kick-off on Saturday 21 March, the day provides a fantastic opportunity for fans to engage with the Foundation, learn more about its work across the community, and discover how its programmes can support individuals and families across Lincolnshire.
A range of activities will be available across the stadium footprint, offering something for all ages.
Fan Village
Supporters can visit the Foundation gazebo to take part in quick and easy health checks, including a grip strength test and biometric scales. The team will be on hand to provide guidance and information on health and wellbeing support available through the Foundation.
Co-op Community Hub
The Foundation’s education team will be showcasing its BTEC and degree programmes, offering insight into the pathways available for young people. Fans can also get involved in table tennis and pool tournaments, with both competitions open to those aged 16 and over.
Entry to each tournament is £5, with sessions beginning from 12:30pm. Participants will be allocated time slots following registration. Winners will receive a trophy along with either two tickets to a future Lincoln City home fixture or a stadium tour.

Younger supporters can take part in free football sessions and skills challenges delivered by Foundation coaches, providing a fun and engaging way to get active before the game.
In addition to the activities, supporters will also be encouraged to take part in the Foundation’s “Bring a Pound to the Ground” initiative, helping to raise funds to support the continuation and growth of its programmes.
Saturday’s fixture also coincides with the club’s Junior Takeover Day, with Foundation staff supporting a range of matchday experiences for young participants across the stadium.
Members of the Foundation team, along with club representatives, will also be hosting guests in the Branston Legends Lounge, showcasing the impact of the Foundation’s work and building future partnerships.
