Britain’s Got Talent finalist Maxwell Thorpe will star at Lincoln City’s fireworks event this Sunday, as one of three acts performing at the event.
The classically-trained crossover opera singer - who wowed judges and the public alike as he won a semi-final and finished fourth on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022 - will perform on the pitch ahead of the spectacular firework display which will round off the evening.
Maxwell has mesmerised audiences worldwide with his powerful and captivating voice. Starting his musical journey at a young age, Maxwell honed his skills through busking on the streets for a decade before pursuing formal training at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
There will be performances earlier in the evening from Hazel Acoustic Duo and Graham Lindley as part of a packed day of family fun.
As well as free football sessions on the 3G pitch put on by Foundation staff, there will be rides for adults and children as well as plenty of local food and drink options.
Doors open for the event at 3pm, with live music from 3.30pm and the display to bring the evening to a dramatic finale taking place at 6.30pm.
Car parking is available on the South Common for just £5 per car if booked in advance, or £6 on the day of the event.
