Branston will fuel the Imps throughout the 2026/27 season, providing potatoes for the first-team squad at the Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre.
The Lincolnshire-based business has agreed a new long-term partnership with City, building on a relationship which has seen the Branston name feature on the front of the Imps' shirt for the last five seasons, as well as sponsoring the Legends Lounge.
The partnership goes beyond the shirt, with Branston products forming part of the matchday experience for supporters as well as playing a role in the day-to-day environment of the first team.
Potatoes supplied by Branston will be used by the club's catering team at the Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre, ensuring the local business continues to support the squad throughout the Sky Bet Championship season.
Branston will also supply potatoes for hospitality areas at the ProAmpac Stadium, including for the new Imps Territory development, bringing the partnership directly into the matchday experience for supporters.
The partnership has grown significantly since Branston first became a shirt sponsor, with the business having remained alongside City through the club's rise from Sky Bet League One to the Championship.
Branston CEO Jim Windle said: “We are delighted with the partnership to date. Initially, five years ago the aim of the front of shirt sponsorship was to drive further recognition of the Branston business in the local area from a recruitment perspective, to support our rapid and continued growth aspirations.
"This has worked superbly well, and has played a major role in supporting the business in more than doubling turnover in the last three years alone. The partnership has now developed well beyond this, and has helped us launch our own brand, Nanna Tate, on the away and third strip whilst keeping the Branston name on the famous home colours.
"The sponsorship of the Legends Lounge, provision of potatoes on matchday and to the Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre for the players and deepening of the wider relationship with the Lincoln City Foundation have all further connected our two businesses beyond the front of shirt deal.
"Putting your name and brand together with anyone is always a moment of real trust and requires an understanding of joint ambition but also alignment of approach and values. All of my colleagues and I are very excited to continue our partnership with the Imps and look forward to the Championship season ahead”.
City's chief commercial officer Bobby Copping said: “Branston are a fantastic example of what a strong, long-term partnership with a local business can look like.
“To have their name on the front of our shirt for the last five seasons has been a clear demonstration of their commitment to the club, but the partnership has always been about much more than the shirt.
“From supplying potatoes across our hospitality areas to helping to fuel the first team at the Gen2 Energy Elite Performance Centre, Branston have a genuine presence across the football club.
“They are a business with incredibly strong Lincolnshire roots, so there’s a natural connection with City, our supporters and the wider community.
“We’re really pleased to continue working with Jim, Simon and the team and look forward to seeing how the partnership develops throughout what promises to be a hugely exciting Championship season.”
