Sonny Bradley says there is a real belief among the players after he helped the Imps stretch their unbeaten run to 12 games.
Bradley was an impressive figure in the backline to secure another clean sheet, setting the foundations for Saturday’s 1-0 win at Wigan Athletic.
He said: “This was a real shift from everyone. You can really feel the togetherness and unity - with everyone doing their best to keep this unbeaten run going.
“We’ve every reason to be confident. over the past few weeks something has clicked and there’s a real belief about how good we are. We’ve played against everyone and have absolutely nothing to fear.
“The squad’s growing with some good additions. The new signings have seen the standards they need to match to integrate into the squad and make a difference between now and the end of the season.
“Right now it feels like we’re going to win every game, and the results speak for themselves.
“That comes down the way we train every day, the way we interact each other and the atmosphere built by the coaching staff.
Bradley had praise for the close to 900 supporters who travelled to the Brick Community Stadium, highlighting the role they again played in helping City to victory.
He added: “The fans were immense. In the second half they were a good 120 yards from me when I was defending our box, but they were loud and I could hear them throughout.
“It was a massive team effort and everyone played their part.”
