Michael Skubala is relishing the prospect of playing in front of another large travelling Imps backing at Barnsley on Saturday.
More than 2,000 City supporters are expected to be at Oakwell as Skubala’s men look to extend their unbeaten run into an 11th game.
The head coach said: “It’s another fantastic backing from the fans, and it’s appreciated by everyone at the club. It really means a lot to us.
“I went to watch them in midweek and thought they were fantastic so we know it’s going to be a tough place to go, but with our fans helping the atmosphere let’s see if we can cause some damage to them as well.”
Jack Burroughs returns to the matchday squad after injury, but this is tempered by the loss of Conor McGrandles who has had an operation on an ankle injury.
Skubala added: “Losing Conor so soon after Ethan Hamilton is a big blow and what we thought was quite innocuous turned out to be quite a serious injury.
“The game is fluid and less rigid in terms of positions, and injuries give opportunities for others to come in and perform to the best of their ability.”
