Jack Moylan was pleased to make his first start for the Imps since a January move from Shelbourne.
The Irishman impressed in the heart of City’s midfield as they made it ten unbeaten with a goalless draw against play-off chasing Stevenage.
Moylan said: “It’s good to get a start - I really enjoyed it. I’m delighted and hopefully I can get many more before the end of the season.
“I arrived over here in November, so it’s my first full game in four months so I really enjoyed it. I needed to stay focused, and be ready when the head coach called upon me.”
The draw against Steve Evans’ side means City haven’t tasted defeat since New Year’s Day, and Moylan is hopeful that the Imps can continue their form for the rest of the campaign.
He added: “As we said in the changing room, if you’re not going to win - don’t lose, and I think that showed today. It’s not a bad point against Stevenage, they’re going for promotion so we go again next week.
“Barnsley are right up there, and they’re doing well, but we’re ten unbeaten so why can’t we go the rest of the way - we want to keep this run going.”
