Lukas Jensen was impressed with the intensity of City as they defeated Bristol Rovers 5-0 to score five goals in three consecutive Sky Bet League One matches.
It was the Dane’s 17th clean sheet of the season, and he recorded his latest shutout by making a string of fine saves.
Jensen said: “Our structure and game plan is about our intensity, so that we get after teams and put loads of pressure on them so they can’t get out.
“We give them no time on the ball so if teams want to come and play, then they’re in for a rollercoaster because we do a good job of getting the ball back straight away and applying more pressure.
“To put five past a Bristol Rovers side who were only eight points behind us is a really good result.”
Jensen also praised the supporters after the Imps recorded their highest home gate of the season against the Pirates.
He added: “They’re unbelievable - they’re so loud.
“I don’t think you can tell how many fans there are if you only look at numbers - they always make a huge noise.
“They’re doing an unbelievable job being the 12th man.”
