Dylan Duffy praised the effort of the whole squad following City’s thrilling 6-0 victory over Cambridge United.
The Irishman and fellow substitute TJ Eyoma both added to the scoreline as the Imps recorded a huge victory at the LNER Stadium.
Duffy said: “If we’re going to do what we want to do, then we need to do it as a squad not a team.
“We can’t just have eleven players, we need us coming off the bench, we have to be raring to go and be able to do the job as well.
“Coming off the bench you have to up the intensity. We went a little bit flat for five minutes and let Cambridge get on the ball, but then we made a few substitutes and were right back at it.”
Duffy also touched on the confidence within the camp at the minute, with City now 12 unbeaten.
He added: “It was a great result. That’s two really good results on the bounce, and we’re full of confidence.
“We are taking it game by game. When the gaffer came in we didn’t have the best start but we took to what he was saying and it’s paying off and now we’re 12 unbeaten.”
