Michael Skubala was proud of the fighting spirit his side showed to ensure they came away from Saturday’s game at Wycombe Wanderers with something.
Ethan Erhahon’s late equaliser ensured a point was earned from the match after a second-half display of real steel and determination.
Skubala said: “In the second half we came out and did really well, we were aggressive and pushed the game.
“In the last 10 minutes we were building pressure with lots of balls into the area, and got the deserved equaliser with probably the last kick of the game. You could see what that meant to everyone on the bench because they see how hard everyone is working.”
More than 400 Imps fans made the trip to Buckinghamshire and got behind the players throughout the match - and Skubala was pleased to reward them with the late goal.
He added: “You could hear the fans throughout the game, they were magnificent and pushed the team throughout.
“What a moment it was at the end - the supporters deserved that for the backing they showed us.”
