Michael Skubala has urged the City faithful to get behind the Imps once again as they welcome Derby County to the LNER Stadium.
City host two of the form sides in the division in Derby and Peterborough United in the next two weeks and Skubala feels the supporters backing will be vital.
Skubala said: "We know the next two games are against tough opposition but why can’t we take the game to Derby and get on the front foot?
"We know at the LNER Stadium there’s a brilliant atmosphere. The fans that travelled to Wycombe were fantastic, they stayed the whole game and saw that out. I think it’s really important for the fans to get behind the players."
City’s head coach has been pleased with what he has seen from his side at points, but hopes that the Imps can start to produce it consistently across 90 minutes.
He added: "I think we’ve seen bits of what we’re aiming for at Cambridge, in the last few minutes at Leyton Orient.
"Our challenge as a group is to consistently put that in, play with pace and play on the front foot in and out of possession across 90 minutes.
"The lads are raring to go and are excited to show what they can do against Derby."
