Charley Kendall has completed a permanent move to National League side Woking.
The 23-year-old forward has spent two years as an Imps player having joined from Eastbourne Borough, making five appearances with his only goal coming in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win at Doncaster Rovers last season.
Kendall has had loan spells at Sutton United and Bromley as well as spent the opening half of this campaign at Dagenham & Redbridge. He was recalled from this spell at the London side in order to complete this switch to the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
City’s director of football Jez George said: “This is a good opportunity for Charley to find a permanent home and do what he wants to do: play games and score goals. With the emergence of Freddie Draper and Jovon Makama over the past 12 months, it is the right solution for all parties and transfer agreement enables us to maintain a future interest in Charley.
“He’s a great lad, who we all really want to do well and fulfil his ambitions in professional football. Even though that will now be away from Lincoln, he leaves with everyone’s best wishes.”
