Reeco Hackett is happy to be back involved following an impressive cameo performance against Wycombe Wanderers.
The forward has been forced to spend the last few months on the sidelines with injury, but his performance against the Chairboys caught the eye as City fought back late on to claim a point.
Hackett said: “It was nice to be out there and get back out on the grass with the boys. In the second half we turned up the pressure and played with a bit more personality and bravery.
“We were in the ascendency and we always looked like the team that was going to go on and get the next goal.”
Derby County are City's next opponents, and Hackett is looking forward to what promises to be an electric atmosphere at the LNER Stadium.
He added: “Derby are a good side who have always been in and around the promotion spots. It’s always going to be a tough test, but I think we’ve got enough in the changing room to get something from the game.
“It’s always a great atmosphere at the stadium, and Derby will probably sell out so it’ll definitely be a good occasion.”
