Freddie Draper is grateful for the support he has received since being recalled from his loan at Walsall in January.
The striker has made an impression alongside Joe Taylor since returning to City, and Draper has appreciated the backing the Imps faithful have given him.
He said: “It was really nice to hear all the support. When we’re at home the noise is brilliant, and when the fans are singing your name you can’t beat it.
“I just want to go and score a few goals for them now and make them cheer even more, and hopefully the songs about me will stay.”
Taylor, a January loan signing from Luton Town, has also caught the eye, with the pair in the beginning stages of what could be a productive partnership for City.
He added: “We know what Joe’s very good at, and I like to think I can complement whoever I play with, and you saw a little bit of that against Derby.
“I used my strength and tried to play him in, but the more and more we train together, the more the link-up is improving, and the better understanding we build.”
