City supporters can receive an exclusive insight into the behind the scenes at the club by listening to part one of Clive Nates' We Are Imps podcast episode.
The club that Clive Nates invested into in early 2016 is almost unrecognisable from the entity that now sits established in League One.
Who better to talk us through the incredible rise than Clive himself. He joined regular host Sam Ashoo to explain why he bought into the Imps, the appointment of Danny and Nicky Cowley and winning the Checkatrade Trophy at Wembley.
Along the way he gives us an insight into signings like John Akinde from Barnet, where the London club's chairman would only deal with him directly, plus we learn about a deal agreed on a tennis court and which player was signed with Clive in the car park of a vets.
This is part one of two of our in-depth chat with chairman Clive Nates.
We Are Imps is available from wherever you listen to your podcasts, and can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Podbean, Amazon Music, Audible, Samsung, Listen Notes, Podchaser and Boomplay.
The podcasts, which will be released fortnightly on Mondays, are filmed and will be added to the club's iFollow Imps service and YouTube channel on the Wednesday.
