Alex Mitchell is excited to get back under the lights at the LNER Stadium as the Imps host Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.
The centre-half praised the atmosphere that the crowd generates every game, and is hoping that the players can repay their support with a good result.
Mitchell said: “It’s always a really good atmosphere on a Tuesday night, it’s special. I think we can really do a job on teams with the support, and no doubt the crowd will get behind us.
“This week is the biggest week of the season so far in my opinion, there’s six points up for grabs.
“What the gaffer has been brilliant with is taking one game at a time, not letting us get ahead of ourselves, and that’s the atmosphere in the building at the moment.”
Mitchell has been enjoying his time with the Imps since joining on loan from Millwall in the summer, with his passion for the game resonating with supporters.
He added: “It’s my fourth loan so it’s all I’ve known and I think that does help me stay passionate about the game.
“It’s definitely easier at a club like Lincoln because of what the fans give you.”
