Lasse Sorensen insists that the squad are hungry to keep developing as City aim for a strong end to the season.
The Dane has been regular in the starting line up this season which has helped him learn his wingback role but knows there’s still work to be done both personally and as a team in the final four fixtures of the season.
He said: “The more you play, the more you learn and the better you get. I think everybody knows that I’ve been really enjoying it and I think from the start of the season to now I have improved a lot in that position.
“We have been doing well but we are as hungry as ever to keep developing and get good results. Our focus is really good in the group.”
Sorensen is also happy with the way the team have set up an exciting finish to the campaign but insists nobody is getting carried away with the impressive unbeaten run.
He added: “It’s really good and really exciting. You come into this end of the season where different teams have different things to play for.
“We are really looking forward to it and have some massive fixtures coming up, but we will be taking each game as it comes which is something we’re quite good at.
“Good teams need a good mentality. Whether you lose or win, if you can keep showing the same hunger to do well.”
