Matthew is LCFC Darts Masters champion

City players and fans came together to take part in the first ever Lincoln City Darts Masters.

Ten supporters took on members of the first-team on a memorable evening held in the Branston Legends Lounge, with Matthew Poundall crowned champion after an exciting final clash with Sean Roughan.

Sean was the only member of the first-team squad to reach the last four, with Rhys Jenkins and Sarah Killingsworth joining him and Matthew in the semi-finals.

After the razzmatazz of all the first-team players entering the stage to their selected walk-out music, there was standing room only by the two boards as the action got underway.

Every supporter had the opportunity to take on a first-team member, with Matthew also defeating Jack Moylan and Joe Taylor on his way to the title.

PDC tour darts player Dave Ladley acted as a caller throughout the evening, and took on attendees in exhibition legs after presenting the trophy to Matthew.

It was a great evening which was enjoyed by all attendees and raised money to go towards the Lincoln City Academy.

The first-team players swop the oche for the football pitch when they're back at the LNER Stadium on Saturday for the eagerly-anticipated visit of Wigan Athletic. Demand for tickets is high so make sure you secure your spot now while you still can.
