Ahead of the sold-out visit of Portsmouth on Saturday, we can provide supporters with a useful guide to help plan your matchday at the LNER Stadium.
Pre and post match
As the regular season fixture closest to the anniversary of the Valley Parade fire, we will carry out our annual act of remembrance before the fixture to remember the 56 who were lost on May 11 1985 including Imps fans Bill Stacey and Jim West.
Wreaths will be laid by Trevor Stacey, son of Bill, City investors Harvey and Missy Jabara and Portsmouth chairman Michael Eisner. Please ensure you get into your seats in the stadium as early as possible to allow this to happen.
After the game City will host their annual end of season presentations, with five trophies to be handed out before a lap of honour from players and staff. Please remain in the stands after the final whistle to allow this, and it is vital that everyone keeps off the pitch at the end of the game. We want to protect the pitch, and will not carry out this presentation if home fans have run on the pitch at the final whistle.
After the post-match presentations there will be promotional offers in the University of Lincoln Fan Village to make the most of your day.
Car parking
Due to the Sping Fair, we do not have access to the South Common for parking. There are a number of alternative parking options in the city centre listed here.
University of Lincoln Fan Village
For those looking to relax and enjoy the matchday atmosphere, there is a wide range of food and drink options in the University of Lincoln Fan Village - including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The Fan Village will be open from 10.30am.
Tipsy Imp will provide a wide range of premium beers and ciders. A variety of soft drinks are also available across the Fan Village.
The Imps retail unit will also be in operation, providing supporters the opportunity to kit themselves out with our home, away, third, goalkeeping and warm-up ranges.
The Red Imps Community Trust will have their stall including memorabilia and old programmes for sale.
St Barnabas will be hosting a bucket collection to raise vital funds for their charity.
The Fan Village will be open after the game with a number of special promotions for supporters who wish to stay behind and celebrate a memorable season. The Centre Spot will be showing live football on the screens with music outside, while Alan Long will be heading over after the post match on-pitch activity and will have some of the players in attendance to mix with fans. The Tipsy Imp will also have buy one get one free on all cans post match, while stocks last.
Additional concession
The Imps have newly added a bar in the North-West corner of the LNER Stadium, providing more access to concession points for supporters.
Family activities
Poacher's Den is City's family-friendly area which is open to supporters of both sides ahead of games at the LNER Stadium.
Based at the north end of the GBM Stand and accessed via Sincil Bank, there is now a pool table, putting green and speed stack challenge. A new TV has also been installed for those wishing to play FIFA on the PlayStation.
Poacher's Den is just one of the free activities in place at every home match, with free children's football sessions on the 3G pitch opposite the SRP Stand from 11am - there is no need to book on, simply turn up from Please note that Poacher's Den will close at 12noon so everyone can get to their seat in time for kick-off.
This is all in addition to the Xbox, table tennis, fussball table and other fun activities at every game.
Supporter liaison officers
Our SLO team will be around the stadium before and during the game, look out for them or our 'Here To Help' team - they will all be clearly identified. We have a matchday familiarisation opportunity for any supporters who are new to the stadium - this is free and there is no need to sign up, simply head to the ticket office for 11am.
Alan Long, who heads our SLO team, also guides you through what a matchday looks like in this welcome video below.
Audio descriptive commentary
The Imps provide a free audio descriptive commentary service for fans with visual impairments. Headsets and receivers can be collected from the ticket office before the game (from the SLO point 10am-11.30am, then from the ticket office desks).
Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones where possible to minimise the amount of equipment needed to be shared - the receivers have a standard aux output.
Anyone with questions about the service are asked to contact disability liaison officer Heidi Langham on dlo@theredimps.com.
