Ethan Erhahon is hoping City can produce another gutsy performance on the road to reward a sell-out away contingent at Cheltenham Town.
The travelling Imps were vociferous in their backing of their side as City battled to a 1-0 victory at fellow play-off chasers Oxford United in midweek.
Erhahon said: “It was a massive performance from the boys, assisted by the fans. It was a great night for all involved, you take pride in those sorts of wins away from home, especially when there was something so important on the line.
“It was top support, and we can only thrive off that as players - who doesn’t love a full away end at a tough place?
“We went there and made them proud, got all three points, and hopefully we can do it again against Cheltenham.”
The Scot also praised his side’s squad depth as City have had to deal with a number of unfortunate injuries in the centre of the park during 2024.
He added: “Anyone that’s played in midfield next to me has done fantastic, and even when I was suspended the boys did superbly.
“We’ve got a good group of players, and squad depth is really important, especially when the season’s this long, we’re almost 50 games deep so it’s vital we have that squad depth.”
