Ben House believes there’s still a lot to play for in the final three games following the Imps’ 2-1 defeat to Wigan Athletic.
Despite responding well to falling behind in the first-half City conceded a late winner as they pushed forward in search of three points.
House said: “At the end we pushed forward trying to go for the win and it cost us, but it’s still all to play for.
“We can’t be too low. We need to recover, get our bodies right for Tuesday and do everything we can to get the win.”
Danny Mandroiu had scored a long-range equaliser to get City back on level terms, with the Imps dominating the remainder of the opening period, and despite having chances after the break it was Charlie Hughes' late goal that settled the contest.
He added: “In the first 20 minutes Wigan were really good. In the last 25 minutes of the first-half we dominated especially after the goal.
“We try to get after teams, and they’re noticing that so they’re changing how they play, which is a compliment to us.
“In those moments we have to be more aggressive and get in their faces. Wigan are a really good team and we’ve just got to move on to Oxford.”
