Ted Bishop is enjoying the current positivity in the camp as the Imps head to Reading in the hopes of extending their long unbeaten run to 16 matches.
The midfielder sealed all three points against Carlisle United last time out with a stunning free-kick, and he believes that confidence is circulating around the side at the moment.
Bishop said: “To be where we are is unbelievable considering where we were a couple of months ago.
“There’s a great mood around the camp and everyone’s just enjoying football at the moment and that’s really nice.
“Confidence is a massive part of our recent success, and we’re also taking the game to other teams, and we’ve got the players to do that, so it’s working really well.”
Bishop is aware of the danger Reading will pose however with the Royals boasting a strong home record.
He added: “It was a really tough game against them last time.
“They’ve got some really good individuals, and they’re better than their league position shows.
“It will be a tough game, but we know if we go there and play our game we have the qualities to go and win.”
