City forward Danny Mandroiu has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One August Player of the Month award.
The Imps sit seventh in Sky Bet League One and picked up 10 points out of a possible 15, with Mandroiu instrumental throughout.
The Irishman contributed with three assists and two goals, all of which came in the 3-0 home wins against Wycombe Wanderers and Blackpool.
The City forward is up against central defender Carl Piergianni (Stevenage) as well as strikers Martyn Waghorn (Derby County) and Charlie Wyke (Wigan Athletic).
The judging panel for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award comprises of Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL chief executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The winner will be announced on Friday 8 September.
