Mark Kennedy regards City’s draw at Bristol Rovers as a brilliant point considering the hectic week the Imps have had.
His side were denied all three points by Josh Grant’s late header, but Kennedy was ultimately pleased with how his squad have navigated a busy week.
He said: “After playing Blackpool at home and Sheffield United away, this was a game I was personally really worried about.
“It’s a brilliant point. It would’ve been amazing if we had three because the equaliser was so late in the game, but I have no complaints, I thought a draw was probably the fair result.”
The Imps are now unbeaten in seven games, and Kennedy feels that the international break has come at the right time for his squad.
He added: “The break will give everyone a chance to recharge, and it gives us an opportunity to get players back to fitness and get some training days in.
“I think it’s arguably come at the right time.”
